Admission: $10 for ages 12 and older, $8 for ages 4-11, kids under 4 are free
$5 food permit charge per car to bring in your own food/drinks/snacks.
Our food stands are open nightly with affordable treats and dinner items.
1 night with 2 big events available to enjoy! On screen 1, the Twister and Twisters double feature lands one final night with fun extras, food/drink specials, photo ops, twister tube and more! Back on screen 2 it's the Local H LIFERS movie followed by the cult classic Phantasm as a double feature! Special introduction by Local H front man Scott Lucas and meet and greet/Q&A during the intermission between the movies. See some spectacular shows with some incredible extras to end our final regular season Sunday night shows.

LIFERS Local H movie with singer meet and greet and Phantasm
🎬Looking to see a rocking new movie with some local talent? Join us Sunday August 24th on screen 2 as we celebrate the 5th Anniversary of the first post-covid rock and roll shows in the US and host a special night featuring the new Local H movie LIFERS followed by Phantasm as a double feature. Scott Lucas will be here for a special introduction to the movie, there will be posters and possibly other Local H merch available, and a Q&A after the Lifers movie during the intermission before Phantasm starts. It promises to be an unforgettable night under the stars.
Gates open at 7pm, movie will start around 8:20 pm. Snack Bar is open for dining options with specials for this event and our Twisters event on the opposite screen.
LIFERS- "LIFERS" is a movie about the band Local H, written, directed, and edited by their singer/guitarist Scott Lucas. It blends elements of a documentary and a concert film, capturing a real-time performance at the Metro in Chicago, along with the experiences of concert-goers. The film is described as a "borderline psychedelic cinematic rock n' roll experience". It's not strictly a documentary or a concert film, but a hybrid, similar to Led Zeppelin's "The Song Remains The Same" and Richard Linklater's "Slacker".
PHANTASM- The residents of a small town have begun dying under strange circumstances, leading young Mike (Michael Baldwin) to investigate. After discovering that the Tall Man (Angus Scrimm), the town's mortician, is killing and reanimating the dead as misshapen zombies, Mike seeks help from his older brother, Jody (Bill Thornbury), and local ice cream man Reggie (Reggie Bannister). Working together, they try to lure out and kill the Tall Man, all the while avoiding his minions and a deadly silver sphere.
Following Local H tradition, tickets are affordable and available now on our website DRIVE-IN.FUN in the regular ticketing links at normal movie admission prices.

We are showing Twister followed by Twisters on both screens Friday and Saturday, have meteorologists and storm chasers here to meet in person(some that are extras in Twisters Movie with their vehicles from the movie!), The Twister Fanatics are coming with The Extreme twister tribute truck, merch and screen used items to see. We have plenty of themed food and drink specials, the storm chaser car show with real life chase vehicles, the twister tube storm simulator is back in action plus photo ops and to top it all off?
Sean Whalen, one of the original cast members from Twister will be here Fri & Sat for a meet and greet and Q&A before the movies start!
