The Harvest Moon is a unique drive in movie theatre located in the heart of central Illinois.
Conveniently located 35 miles from Bloomington Normal and 30 miles from Champaign-Urbana, the Harvest Moon is the area's # 1 summer movie destination.

The Harvest Moon is CLOSED for the rest of the 2011 season. Please check back in November for our holiday merchandise specials or watch for us to reopen in April 2012.
- Admission $6.00 per person, Children under 4 years old are free.
- Gates open 1 hour prior to showtime: Harvest Moon is closed for the 2011 season.
- We show movies in ALL weather conditions, including rain, snow, fog, and thunderstorms.
- The Snackbar is open Friday-Sunday, the Burger Barn is open Fridays and Saturdays only during the season.
- Only cash is currently accepted for admissions. Credit Cards and Cash are accepted at both the Snackbar and Burger Barn.
- A small amount of radios and chairs are available to rent, so please bring a battery operated stereo or plan to use your vehicle radio to listen to the movie.
Please note our new ticket policy. Due to new film company regulations, all children over 3 years old must pay for an admission to our theatre. We hope that you understand as we work to inform everyone throughout the season of the new change. Thank you.

The Harvest Moon is located directly across the street from Pizza Hut just outside of Gibson City IL on Route 47.
Please Note: Once you are inside the theatre, you are NOT allowed to cross the street to order pizza from Pizza Hut. You CAN order it from us inside our Snackbar, but are not allowed to leave the theater and re-enter without paying admission again. thank you!
The Harvest Moon is the World's First Wind Powered Movie Theatre!
The Harvest Moon is operated sustainably, with the assistance of 1 small residential wind turbine. A Skystream 2.4kw turbine on a 50' tower provides 30% of the Theatre's electricity during the season.
The drive in uses LED lighting, soy paints, energy efficient appliances, and recyclable products to reduce our footprint.
A larger solar array is planned for 2012 to reduce an additional 50% of the Theatre's Electricity usage as well as a Solar Hot Water System.
